Job Overview

We seek an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead procurement activities for large-scale Transmission and Distribution projects in Australia.

This role will oversee strategic procurement, supplier relationships, and compliance to ensure timely delivery of critical goods and services supporting the country's energy transition.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leverage expertise in procurement processes to develop and implement strategies aligned with project requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors to secure best value and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain a high level of supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery to meet project objectives.
  • Provide procurement insights and reporting to support forecasting and cost management.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Required Expertise
  • Proven experience in procurement management within the energy infrastructure sector, ideally in transmission and distribution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement frameworks, commercial principles, and Australian Standards.
  • Ability to manage complex procurement packages and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Familiarity with high-voltage equipment supply chains.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
