Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Data Office as an Associate Director of Business Operations. This role is pivotal in supporting business operations and plays a key part in driving strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management, and cultural engagement across the team.

You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure smooth operations, support strategic initiatives, and foster a high performing, engaged team culture. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and contribute to strategic planning papers.
  • Track and manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting across the Data Office.
  • Lead risk management and governance activities to ensure operational integrity.
  • Drive employee engagement through initiatives like communications and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate and prepare for quarterly innovation days, ensuring smooth execution and high impact.
  • Partner with HR and leaders on workforce planning and team culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate across business units to align operations with broader strategic goals.
  • Provide clear, confident communication—both written and verbal—to influence and inform stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in business operations, strategic planning, and portfolio delivery within complex environments.

Strong understanding of financial management, including OPEX/CAPEX and business case development, is essential.

Demonstrated success in risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is required.

The ideal candidate will possess high levels of energy, initiative, and self-drive, with the ability to lead change, drive innovation, and foster a collaborative team culture.
