Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve complex tax disputes, ensuring effective working relationships with revenue authorities.
- Prepare clients for risk reviews, audits, and disputes with various revenue bodies.
Tax Law Expertise:
- Develop written and oral advocacy skills to provide expert advice on taxation law and administrative law.
- Collaborate with specialist groups on engagements involving complex domestic and cross-border tax issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy in an advisory or professional services firm, a law firm, or the Australian Taxation Office will be viewed favourably.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects through strong collaboration and accountability for scope management and timely delivery.
- Ability to negotiate discreetly with internal and external parties.
