About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our KinCare team on the Sunshine Coast. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the care they need.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with empathy and understanding.

Requirements
  • You must care about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • You should be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
