Unity Software Engineer Position

Welcome to a world of gaming excellence where innovation meets artistry. Our team is seeking a skilled Unity Software Engineer to join our collaborative environment and contribute to the development of next-generation slot games.

This role combines technical expertise with creative flair, bringing visual designs to life while ensuring seamless integration of art assets in real-time gaming environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create software systems, art assets, game engine assets, shaders, and real-time visual effects that captivate and engage players.
  • Collaborate with engineers and artists to ensure products meet performance requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Identify and solve complex technical issues related to the art pipeline, optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide technical feedback to artists to enhance asset creation and streamline workflows.
  • Document and promote best practices across the team, driving continuous improvement and growth.
  • Develop tools and scripts to enhance Unity workflow, streamlining processes and increasing productivity.
  • Profile and debug game performance to optimize areas, delivering smooth and enjoyable gaming experiences.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in game development studios, preferably with a strong background in Unity and C#.
  • Familiarity with versioning software such as Perforce (preferred), CVS, or similar.
  • Experience creating motion graphics or animations, with samples readily available.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities with ease.
  • Experience working with game engines and proficiency in tool development (C# and Python).
Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Software engineering (C#) with a focus on optimization and scalability.
  • Unity development expertise, including tool development and profiling.
  • Strong organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics, including Photoshop/After Effects and Blender.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on multiple projects with minimal direction.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles across various platforms, with a focus on delivering seamless user experiences.
