Portable Fire Protection Technician

We are seeking a skilled service technician to join our team as a Portable Fire Protection Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining fire protection equipment on customer premises.

About the Role

This is a field-based position requiring travel to remote sites with opportunity for overtime pay. You will have responsibility for attending customer sites to install, service and maintain fire protection equipment including hose reels, hydrants, extinguishers and other related products.

  • Servicing portable fire equipment on customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service and advice to clients on site.

About You

You will receive all the training required to perform your role at a high standard. If you have a service mindset and enjoy customer interaction, you can achieve the outcomes you and our company desire.

  • FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in-house training.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
