Job Overview

Our organization seeks a diligent Equipment Inventory Specialist to oversee the management of equipment inventory. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, as well as proficiency in managing and maintaining accurate records of all assets on the property.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to equipment inventory and directing customers to relevant team members when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all assets on the property, including receiving, release, and reconciliation of past sales.
  • Ensure efficient tracking and organization of inventory across all sale cycles and selling channels.
  • Enforce storage policies and implement best practices to optimize yard space, utilization, and turnover.
  • Accurately identify and label equipment by recording details such as make, model, serial numbers, and seller reference numbers.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to perform tasks on specific types of equipment, transportation assets, and industry-relevant assets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience demonstrating strong attention to detail in previous roles, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.
Preferred Skills
  • Inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Basic mathematics skills for inventory calculations, cost analysis, and reporting.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to work indoors and outdoors year-round, with the ability to climb on and off large equipment trucks.
