Service Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our sales and service team. This hands-on position is crucial for ensuring the timely completion of service projects, providing exceptional product support, and maximizing revenue.

  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and servicing of customer and rental equipment while managing schedules and records.
  • Initiate and receive communication with customers regarding equipment maintenance and repairs, both in-house and on-site.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance over the phone.
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance work at job sites.
  • Offer assistance and demonstrations for the sales team as needed.
  • Manage rental equipment check-in/check-out and prepare it for dispatch.
  • Assist with warehouse operations and coordinate industrial equipment deliveries.
  • Inspect returned rental equipment and complete job cards.
  • Perform basic fabrication and repairs as required.
  • Enter data into our system as needed.

">Requirements:
  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  3. Competence in using maintenance tools.
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot.
  5. Commitment to excellent customer service.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  8. Valid Australian driver's license.
