Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to provide preventive and maintenance services to customers, ensuring the optimal performance of Life Sciences (LSG) and Clinical Diagnostics (CDG) instruments.

This will involve installing, servicing, and maintaining all LSG and CDG equipment, as well as handling work orders in a timely and satisfactory manner for the customer.

The Field Service Engineer will also be responsible for utilizing software tools such as ServiceMax for efficient work order management and ensuring that all necessary tools and test equipment are kept in a professional and organized state.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality preventive and maintenance services to customers
  • Install, service, and maintain all LSG and CDG instruments
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize ServiceMax for efficient work order management
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in a professional state
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Life Science, Clinical Diagnostics, or Biomedical service industry
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Strong organizational, planning, and teamwork skills
  • Results-driven with a high level of computer literacy
  • Valid driver's license in Australia
