Opportunity to Join NSW Health's Oral Health Team

This role offers a unique chance to provide high-quality oral health care to patients in the Mid North Coast Local Health District. As a Dental Officer Level 2, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive oral assessment and clinical care services in accordance with NSW Health Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective oral health care to patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, and extractions.
  • Conduct thorough oral assessments to identify and address any oral health issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest oral health research and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Dental Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Minimum 2 years' clinical experience and successful completion of the Dental Officers Skills Assessment.
  • Demonstrated competency in clinical practice, including provision of dental services under general anaesthesia.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
