Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Mid North Coast Local Health District. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting safe, efficient, and effective inpatient, outpatient, and community care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practise and promote safe, efficient, and effective inpatient, outpatient, and community care that reflects current standards of physiotherapy practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
  • Assess clinical and other problem situations and implement appropriate techniques and procedures, exercising professional judgement commensurate with years of experience.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
  • Work collaboratively as an effective team member to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Comply with NSW Health policy directives and maintain current knowledge of physiotherapy practices and policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualifications for registration or eligibility for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess clinical and other problem situations and implement appropriate techniques and procedures.
  • Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Code of Conduct as outlined by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Current driver's licence valid to drive in NSW.
