Job Title: Precision Agriculture Support Specialist

">Overview

This role involves providing technical support for precision agriculture systems, including installation, operation and troubleshooting of products such as auto guidance and steering systems, rate controllers, yield monitors and mapping software.

You will be required to interact with customers and colleagues on multiple platforms, predominantly via phone, to develop solutions for customers in the Asia Pacific region.

Additionally, you will attend field days, conferences and other events to promote our products, and for customer interaction.

Assist with providing training for dealers to demonstrate product benefits for farmers.

Make customer visits with dealers to learn and report on customer needs and provide technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for precision agriculture systems.
  • Install, operate and troubleshoot products such as auto guidance and steering systems, rate controllers, yield monitors and mapping software.

  • Develop solutions for customers in the Asia Pacific region.

Requirements
  • Passion for agriculture and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
  • Relevant degree or technical qualification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience using precision technology and software, including an understanding of basic electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to present to small and large audiences to deliver up-to-date product information and features.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • A good sense of humour and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with customers and dealers.
