Job Title: National Transport Manager

This role requires exceptional leadership skills to oversee Road Logistics operations across Australia. As a key decision-maker, you will drive business growth and expansion through strategic planning and execution.


Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and implement the national business strategy in alignment with global objectives.
  • Drive the acquisition of new business, support account management, and expand existing client relationships.
  • Lead the business development process, including sales, tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing, and service offerings.
  • Evaluate opportunities to adapt global Road Logistics products and equipment to meet local market expectations while ensuring international compatibility.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, including acquisition targets, new services, and partnerships.
  • Maintain strong personal relationships with key customers, seek out new major accounts, and oversee Field Sales activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure optimal financial results.
  • Ensure efficient and effective Road Logistics operations, including Pricing and Implementation, and continuously optimize them in line with regional and global guidelines.

Your Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Road Logistics and management.
  • Wind Transport experience highly valued.
  • Experience on Road Logistics solution design, pricing and implementation.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving Road Logistics initiatives and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial and international Road Logistics markets.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
