About the Opportunity

Seeking a skilled tradesperson to perform welding and fabrication with structural steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret structural shop drawings
  • Operate various welding equipment, hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety procedures

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified boilermaker or experienced welder with a background in structural steel
  • Proficiency in range of welding techniques, including MIG and ARC welding
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
  • White card and experience operating other machinery highly regarded
