Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the skills to accurately read and interpret drawings and specifications, operate machines to produce parts, and fabricate all types of steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel structures.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • \
  • Accurately reading and interpreting drawings and specifications\
  • Operating machines to produce parts by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding or drilling metal stock or components\
  • Fabrication of all types of steel, aluminum and stainless-steel structures\
  • Plate Profiling, Machining and Lathe jobs\
  • Welding and insulation work\
  • Order/fabricate with accuracy and assemble metal parts\
  • Assisting in equipment maintenance, repair, upgrades and installations\
  • Performing scheduled inspections and condition assessment on machines\
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels of spare parts\
  • Completing tasks to high quality while working to a deadline\

  • Relevant trade qualification\
  • At least 2 years work experience\
  • Strong adherence to OH&S and maintaining a safe workplace\
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role\
