Structural Steel Fabrication Specialist
Job Description:As a skilled structural steel fabricator, you will play a vital role in the successful completion of construction projects. You will work in a workshop-based environment, responsible for manufacturing and installing high-quality structural steel products.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent welding skills, including MIG, TIG, and ARC techniques, as well as experience with structural steel fabrication. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing of structural steel products: cutting, folding, drilling, and assembling.
- Effective management of project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with quality control standards and workplace safety regulations.
- Overseeing trade assistants and apprentices when required.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in boilermaking or relevant trade certification.
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication, including welding and metalwork.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
