About the Position

As a Library Officer, you will build strong connections with local communities by delivering exceptional service and collaborating with colleagues to enhance library experiences.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service and engage proactively with community members.
  • Work closely with library staff to implement improvements and deliver memorable experiences.
About You

You will have experience in customer-facing roles, excellent communication skills, and a solutions-oriented approach. Additionally, you should be able to work co-operatively as part of a team, possess basic technology troubleshooting skills, and demonstrate well-developed problem-solving abilities.

Your strengths include:

  • Verbal communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Customer service skills, with exceptional ability to deliver memorable experiences
  • Ability to work co-operatively as part of the team in a customer service environment
  • PC literacy, including skills with mobile technologies and basic technology trouble shooting skills
  • Problem solving, conflict resolution, planning, organisation and time management skills
