Procurement Manager Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing our overall procurement activities in Australia.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who has excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should have a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures, as well as experience in supplier management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in Australia. You should also have a bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research on the Australian market, understanding and predicting market trends, and providing decision-making basis for procurement strategies.

You will also establish and maintain good supplier relationships, conduct regular supplier evaluations, and ensure supplier product quality and service levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for the negotiation, review, and management of procurement contracts to ensure contract compliance and protection of company interests.

Furthermore, you will formulate and implement procurement cost control plans to improve procurement efficiency. You will also be responsible for the construction and improvement of procurement processes and systems to ensure the standardization and compliance of procurement activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
  • At least 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in Australia;
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and extensive experience in supplier negotiation and management;
  • Strong cost awareness and excellent analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to effectively handle procurement issues and conflicts;
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines;
  • Proficient in English, fluent Chinese is a plus.
