Job Description

Role Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage performance.
  • Implement cost reduction strategies, including direct sourcing and leveraging purchasing power.
  • Design and optimize procurement processes, systems, and tools for efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure a reliable supply chain as we grow.
  • Analyze procurement data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and other teams to align procurement strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the food industry.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience in cost optimization and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge of commodities markets, procurement trends, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with ERPs (Netsuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
