As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, including construction, engineering, manufacturing, and professional services.

Your primary focus will be on leading and inspiring a team of brokers, ensuring their growth and development, and driving branch profitability through effective management of client relationships and initiatives.

  • Lead and develop a team of 8 brokers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Take ownership of a substantial portfolio of clients, providing strategic advice on complex risks and contract reviews.
  • Drive branch growth through relationship-building, innovative ideas, and proactive risk management.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial broking, preferably with a track record of managing mid-market portfolios.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, including ISR, Liability, Financial Lines, and Construction risks.
  • Ability to review contracts and advise on PI and construction exposures.
  • Solid commercial acumen, combined with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
