Technical SEO Manager

Elevate search engine performance by driving strategic technical initiatives across platforms. As our Technical SEO Manager, you will shape high-impact outcomes for global brands.

This role leads technical initiatives to elevate search visibility through optimising platform architecture and implementing scalable SEO solutions. Mentor others, set standards, and shape best practices while driving initiatives from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive technical SEO strategy implementation across all platforms in partnership with the SEO Lead.
  • Brief and liaise with Product and Engineering teams on technical SEO requirements and new feature development.
  • Conduct advanced technical SEO audits and oversee implementation of optimisation initiatives for regulated markets.
  • Mentor and develop Technical SEO Executives through mentoring, training, and task delegation.
  • Translate SEO requirements into technical specifications and JIRA tickets for engineering teams.
  • Oversee site architecture, crawlability, rendering strategies, and performance optimisation across all properties.
  • Analyse and report on technical SEO performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain technical SEO standards, documentation, and best practices for cross-team adoption.
  • Research and implement emerging SEO technologies and automation tools to scale operations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and third-party providers on technical integrations.
  • Support SEO Lead in capacity planning and resource allocation for technical initiatives.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in technical SEO, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
  • Proven experience managing technical SEO for large-scale websites (100,000+ pages).
  • Experience with headless CMS implementations.
  • Proficiency with technical SEO tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to brief and collaborate with engineering teams.
