About This Role

We are seeking a talented professional to lead the delivery of projects related to respectful behaviors and the prevention of gender-based violence.

  • This is a full-time fixed-term position through to August 2026.
  • Based at the St Lucia campus, you will work alongside some of the brightest minds from around the world.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least four years of experience, or an equivalent combination. You will be able to plan projects and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of projects, including developing project plans, collating documents, and providing operational and strategic guidance on initiatives.
  2. Conduct systemic reviews and high-level evaluations, including gender-impact assessments, and undertake project-specific research to support evidence-informed recommendations.
  3. Engage internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery, promotion, and evaluation; prepare reports and proposals for internal committees and external regulatory bodies.
  4. Align UQ Respect initiatives with relevant legislation and embed evaluation into future programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least four years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Proven expertise in research, data analysis, scoping, and evaluation in large-scale settings.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to build productive relationships and communicate sensitive information with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Current knowledge of gender-based violence, student support, and workplace sexual harassment legislation and its application in practice.
  • Blue Card: holder of a current Queensland Government Blue Card or ability to obtain one.
