Client Facility Coordinator - Electrical Trade Specialist

This is an opportunity to join our team as a Client Facility Coordinator - Electrical Trade Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing hands-on trade-based maintenance for building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire, and electrical systems.

  • Coordinate the end-to-end maintenance process, ensuring services align with client needs and broader strategies.

  • Perform hands-on trade-based statutory, preventative, and corrective maintenance for building systems.

    ">">

  • Supervise and coordinate contractors, ensuring high-quality and timely service delivery.

    ">">

  • Conduct building inspections, provide condition assessments, and advise on technical solutions.

    ">">

  • Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies aligned with University goals.

    ">">

  • Collaborate on projects to enhance existing systems and improve operational performance.

    ">">

  • Participate in on-call rosters, uphold WHS standards, and assist with maintenance audits.

    ">">

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders and establish trusted adviser and service provider to key clients.

    ">">

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to support delivery of maintenance services and implementation of facilities management initiatives.

  • Experience working in maintenance service delivery functions in complex stakeholder and policy environments.

    ">">

  • Willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.

">About You">

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • ">

  • Completion of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

    ">">

  • Must possess a current open Queensland Driver's Licence.

    ">">

  • Technical trade background with knowledge and technical experience in the provision of building maintenance services in large, complex buildings.

    ">">

  • Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical or plumbing services in large, complex buildings.

    ">">

  • Ability to apply structured problem solving approaches and good judgement to analyse, manage and resolve diverse range of maintenance issues.

    ">">

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

    ">">

  • Experience working in maintenance service delivery functions.

    ">">

  • Willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Elevated work platform (EWP) licence.

  • Dual Trade certificate – PLC and Dynalit.
