We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Computing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in ANZ's largest and most innovative companies.

You will work closely with our cross-functional team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and execute strategic business development plans, and build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, data and AI, and business development, with a proven track record of success in driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies within Enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive adoption of AWS in ANZ's largest and most innovative companies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with our cross-functional team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and engagement with C-level executives and influencers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
  • Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of ambiguity and in a matrix organization.
  • Proven track record of successful engagements with customers in Australia & New Zealand.
