Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Sewer/Server to join our team in Victoria.

This role is an essential member of our Clothing Store team, working alongside customer service professionals that support Defence National Clothing Store Services contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer service and over counter sales/handling uniforms
  • Record keeping of customer orders
  • Assisting with duties of sewing ranks, insignia, and badges
  • Assisting in sewing duties including hemming, alterations, and Medal mounting

Required skills and attributes include:

  • Tailoring, hand stitch and sewing are essential with further training provided
  • Computing skills and service systems
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance, as well as pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.

The position is a fixed term full-time role, working 38 hours per week, Monday - Friday. We offer family friendly hours, additional on the job training, guaranteed 2 weeks Christmas shutdown, uniform & safety boots provided.
