About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health and Addiction Support Specialist to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals and their families affected by mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to program participants to address their psychosocial, emotional, and addiction-related needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs and develop strategies for support.
  • Provide education and training to individuals and their families on mental health and addiction-related topics.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree and experience in a field such as psychology, behavioral science, community services, or social welfare.
  • 100 points of identification.
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia.
  • National Police Check.
  • International Police Check (if relevant).
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Workers Screening check.
  • NDIS Workers Orientation module certificate – free online course.
