About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team of allied health professionals in Hobart. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct early intervention and psychological worksite assessments to identify and address workplace hazards and provide solutions to prevent work-related injuries.
  • Participate in medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison to ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counseling to help injured workers recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and in the community.
  • Undertake vocational assessments to identify suitable job opportunities for clients.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) OR Full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA.
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation (highly desired but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done.
  • The ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance.
  • A current driver's license and vehicle.
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
