About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. As an integral part of our team, you will assist injured workers in recovering at work and achieving independence at home, in the workplace, and the community, improving their wellbeing and purpose in life.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking workplace rehabilitation services in line with your scope of practice, such as initial needs assessments, workplace assessments, advice concerning job modifications, and rehabilitation counselling/vocational assessments.
- Participating in medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison, and case management services.
- Supporting needs assessments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers).
- Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- A self-starter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done.
- The ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
- A current Australian driver's license and vehicle.
- Ability to learn and positively impact people's lives.
