Student Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Support Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

The Student Support Coordinator will provide responsive and effective support services for students, family members, and staff. They will coordinate the Student Support Program, researching, developing, and implementing systems, intervention strategies, and alternative programs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the Student Support Program
  • Establish and maintain professional links between students, families, colleges/schools, and community agencies
  • Undertake work assessments on students, including liaison with parents/guardians, students, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Assist school administration in crisis management by providing relevant and appropriate strategies and support as required
  • Actively assist teaching staff in planning and implementing class and school activities and co-facilitate group work

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment
  • Valid Working With Children Check before starting
  • Consent to a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting
