Position Overview

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager who excels in building relationships and possesses extensive knowledge of government and public sector clients. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, eager to collaborate with clients to address their challenges.

Utilizing a consultative sales methodology, you will engage with clients throughout their digital transformation journey, uncovering growth opportunities and managing a diverse portfolio of accounts. Your responsibilities will include crafting persuasive sales proposals and tender submissions, identifying new sales avenues within your accounts, and establishing yourself and the NCS team as trusted advisors.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity managing accounts for a Technology Consultancy or Systems Integrator
  • Expertise in consultative and solution-oriented sales
  • Strong background in Account Management with a network of contacts in the public sector
  • Extensive experience in selling products, solutions, and services related to cloud, digital transformation, application modernization, data, and AI
  • Proven ability to lead complex bids, RFPs, and RFQs
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster relationships at various organizational levels
  • Capacity to cultivate relationships within complex enterprise and government clients
  • A motivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, driven by sales achievements
