You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to our elderly residents. This involves bringing clinical expertise, compassion, and leadership skills to our team while supporting Enrolled Nurses and Care Service Employees.
About YouEssential:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in aged care since registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aged care legislation and policies.
- Familiarity with the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes.
- High-level analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- An empathetic and respectful approach to care, with strong interpersonal skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to our organization's values.
- Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (morning, afternoon, nights).
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Preferred:
- Experience in residential aged care, focusing on holistic support for older people.
- Primary Healthcare experience, managing chronic illnesses and supporting older populations.
- Strong clinical knowledge of age-related health issues.
- Leadership and coordination skills.
- Caring and empathetic nature, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of aged care standards, compliance, and relevant legislation.
- An attractive hourly rate $56.27, plus salary packaging up to $18,900 net per annum.
- A relocation allowance of up to $5,000 (towards flights, accommodation, etc.).
