Compassionate Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Adult/Mental Health Nurse to provide holistic care in a safe environment for residents with nursing and mental health needs.

This part-time position offers approximately 24.5 hours of work per week, providing a rewarding opportunity to assess care needs and produce care plans that reflect each resident's wishes and needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a team and excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, residents, and other professionals. A valid NMC PIN with no restrictions is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assess care needs and produce care plans that reflect each resident's wishes and needs.
  • To manage medications using electronic systems, supervise stock, and carry out CD checks.
  • To lead by example, demonstrating good communication and leadership skills to ensure the team provides optimum care.
  • Knowledge of wound management, venepuncture, stoma care, end-of-life care, IV medications, and other general nursing skills.
  • To document daily actions and communications on our e-plan and update care plans as necessary.
  • Ability to communicate with families, outside agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to provide the best outcomes for residents.
Person Specification:
  • Valid NMC PIN with no restrictions.
  • Registered General or Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • Ability to assess care needs and produce care plans accordingly.
  • Basic IT skills required for electronic reporting and care planning.
  • Adaptive leadership skills to assess and meet the shifting needs, wants, and staffing during shifts.
Benefits:
