Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and delivering accurate budgets, quotes and cost estimates for small to medium insurance claims across both residential and commercial damaged properties.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the construction and insurance industries, with the ability to conduct site assessments, determine cause of damage, scope of works and costings. They will also be able to compile and deliver detailed scope of works, accurate budget breakdowns and complete accurate roof inspections utilising telescopic poles.

This is a key position within our organisation, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Conduct site assessments to determine cause of damage, scope of works and costings
  3. Compile and deliver detailed scope of works
  4. Compile and deliver accurate budget breakdowns
  5. Complete accurate roof inspections utilising telescopic poles
  6. Liaise with contractors/suppliers to assist with quote requests and repair methodology
  7. Determining policy coverage in accordance with client agreements
  8. Write scope of works and associated reports to KPI deadline
  9. Liaising with client, customer and Claims Coordinators with any SOW or report related queries
  10. Liaising with internal teams to book in trade attendances (subcontractors and/or specialists)
  11. Maintaining an awareness of SLA (service level agreement) and KPIs
  12. Conduct risk assessments on the potential high risk and hazardous components of each project">
