Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in scope planning to minimize gaps and maximize cost efficiencies while considering subcontractor capabilities.
  2. Prepare procurement packages, identify potential subcontractors, determine procurement methods, prepare and administer tenders, and negotiate and prepare subcontracts.
  3. Lead and manage other commercial roles, including indirect reports.
  4. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and stay informed about market conditions and movements.
  5. Evaluate commercial and contractual risks associated with subcontract delivery and implementation, identifying controls and escalating actual or potential issues as needed.
  6. Assist in identifying and quantifying potential Head Contract Variations.
  7. Ensure accurate cost forecasting for allocated subcontracts and cost codes, addressing any cost issues promptly.
  8. Operate and maintain commercial and contract systems, including Project Pack Web (PPW).
  9. Support Head Contract administration as required.
  10. Contribute to month-end financial processes, such as preparing accruals.
