Environmental Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organisation by providing expert advice and guidance on environmental planning matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing planning reports at local and state significant scales.
- Navigate complex approvals pathways under state and federal environmental and planning legislation.
- Prepare feasibility reports and due diligence advice.
- Provide strategic environmental advice on land use and development proposals.
- Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- A university qualification in Town Planning or Environmental Planning.
- 1-5 years' experience in town planning or environmental planning, ideally in consulting.
- The ability to analyse and interpret situations and problems to develop appropriate solutions.
- Experience in statutory approvals for industry, extractive industry, or environmental approvals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and high computer literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
