Job Opportunity:
SLR Consulting Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Environmental Planning and Compliance Specialist to support senior project managers in delivering large multidisciplinary projects across the APAC region.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have professional qualification in environmental science, planning or a relevant degree, and 2+ years' experience at a professional level in consulting. They will be required to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients with a focus on quality and demonstrate strong time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of large projects and take responsibility for own projects.
- Work alongside technical disciplines covering noise and vibration, air quality, contamination and remediation, ESG and sustainability.
- Prepare environmental approvals documentation and assist with preparing fee proposals and reports.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in environmental science, planning or a relevant degree.
- 2+ years' experience at a professional level in consulting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of environmental approval processes in Victoria and/or New South Wales.
- Experience with environmental effects assessments/approvals and environmental licensing.
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables on competing timeframes.
