Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Planning Specialist to join our national team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have 2+ years' experience in consulting, government or industry working to deliver environmental impact assessments and approvals.

About the Opportunity

The role involves supporting senior project managers in delivering large multidisciplinary projects. You will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the delivery of various projects
  • Preparing high-quality proposals and reports
  • Preparation of environmental approvals documentation

Your Key Responsibilities

You will work alongside local specialist teams and the wider APAC team to deliver a comprehensive environmental service to clients across diverse sectors. Our team is increasingly exposed to a range of industries, with opportunities in onshore wind farms, transmission/network, infrastructure, energy storage & Solar Projects, sustainable waste recovery and management, and mining across the APAC region.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A professional qualification in environmental science, planning, engineering or other relevant degree
  • 2+ years' experience at a professional level, ideally in consulting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental approval processes in Victoria and/or New South Wales
  • Experience with environmental effects assessments/environmental impact assessment and approvals
  • Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
