Policy Analyst
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Victim Services Support and Reform branch.
- Assist in the development and implementation of victims' policy within the department and across government.
- Support the delivery and reform of services to victims of crime, focusing on putting victims at the centre of the justice system.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to make a real difference in the lives of victims of crime.
Key Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated analytical and policy skills, including the use of data to inform policy decisions.
- Experience in coordinating government business, including correspondence and Cabinet processes.
- Professional written communication skills and ability to develop high-quality documents.
- Understanding of victims' issues, particularly family violence, sexual assault and financial assistance.
A tertiary qualification in public policy, law or a related field is highly regarded.
