
Brain Recovery Specialist

A world-renowned provider of tertiary health services offers a challenging role for an individual with expertise in the recovery of individuals under the age of 65 years with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or neurodegenerative condition and associated mental illness including behavioural concerns.
The Clinical Neuropsychologist Grade 3 will be responsible for demonstrating expert knowledge and skills in Acquired Brain Injury, Neurodegenerative illness, and Mental Health including behavioural assessment and interventions in the context of slow-stream neurobehavioral rehabilitation.
The role involves providing education and ongoing consultation to consumers, families, and carers.
- Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist with specialist endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology is required.
- A Masters degree in Clinical Neuropsychology with a minimum of 5 years professional experience as a psychologist Grade 2 is necessary.
- Being an approved supervisor with AHPRA of provisional psychologists and registrars is also essential.

- Advanced knowledge and skills in neuropsychology, acquired brain injury, neurodegenerative illness, and mental health.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to provide high-quality education and consultation to consumers, families, and carers.
