Contract Administrator

The Contract Administrator will oversee all aspects of contract administration, from pre-contract activities through to project execution. They will ensure compliance with contractual obligations, manage variations and extensions of time (EOTs), and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit variations, EOTs, and formal letters in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Develop and implement contract administration processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documentation, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager in the administration of the contract.
  • Monitor contract performance, key dates, and deliverables to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and 3rd parties to resolve any contractual issues.
  • Support procurement activities, including scope development and subcontract agreements.
  • Contribute to project reporting and risk management processes.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with licensing, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support pre-contract activities, including risk assessments and documentation preparation.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and legal standards.

Qualifications And Skills:
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related field is required.
Three years of experience in contract administration within the construction sector are necessary.
A strong understanding of standard construction contracts and excellent communication skills are also essential.
