About Us
Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Senior Environmental Approvals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about environmental sustainability and wants to make a meaningful contribution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and Commonwealth environmental approvals, regulations, and Environmental Performance Requirements (EPRs). They will develop, implement, and maintain the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and associated procedures, ensuring continual improvement and system effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and Commonwealth environmental regulations, including management of environmental systems and documentation such as EMPs and control plans.
- CEMP Development: Develop, implement, and maintain the CEMP and associated procedures, ensuring continual improvement and system effectiveness.
- Environmental Monitoring: Lead environmental monitoring strategies, compile monthly reports, provide sustainability data, and maintain accurate environmental records to support project compliance.
- Auditing and Inspection: Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits, as well as perform regular inspections to assess environmental and sustainability performance.
- Risk Management: Identify environmental risks, implement mitigation strategies, and assist with incident reporting and follow-up to ensure accountability and improvement.
