Job Overview

An exciting opportunity awaits to join a market-leading Shopping Centre Owner. Our client boasts an outstanding portfolio of shopping centres and now requires a detail-oriented professional to provide support within their Centre Management team.

About the Role

This role requires a resourceful individual with a solid background in accounting and administration, ready to contribute to a collaborative and energetic team. Key responsibilities include delivering day-to-day administrative support to the finance department, overseeing accounts receivable, tenant invoicing, and debt management, including account reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in accounting software, competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with skills in Word and PowerPoint. They will have exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities, be adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and able to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day administrative support to the finance department.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, tenant invoicing, and debt management, including account reconciliations.
  • Process accounts payable, data entry, and maintain organized electronic filing systems and databases.
  • Manage lease documentation, conduct rent reviews, and gather necessary data.
  • Handle accrual accounting, bank reconciliations, and manage cash flow.
  • Assist in preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MRI, Xero, MYOB).
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with skills in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a positive, pro-active mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
