CIMIC Group is a leading international contractor and the parent company of a diverse range of businesses in the construction and engineering sectors. We are currently seeking a Project Completions Lead to join our team.

About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you will report directly to the Project Manager and play a crucial role in supporting project teams to implement completions requirements in accordance with established plans. Your focus will be on ensuring that all specified outcomes align with the project’s quality standards and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with construction and testing teams to ensure that all relevant project delivery documentation is accurately captured and organized within the electronic document management system.
  • Review and verify handover packages, ensuring that all necessary construction documents and system certification materials are compiled as per established processes.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary, engaging with the construction team and vendors to monitor the progress of project completions.
  • Oversee and assess subcontractors' completion deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the assurance team and construction personnel to secure system assurance certificates.
  • Participate in handover inspections and punch list reviews, facilitating the resolution of outstanding items in the system.
  • Track and report on completions progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Review compliance documentation and finalize construction lots.
  • Ensure the closure of project delivery records, maintaining completeness to meet client expectations.
  • Assist in gathering data for weekly and monthly quality performance reports.
  • Engage in meetings to evaluate completions performance and strategize improvements.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding and execution of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A recognized degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in construction within a recognized Quality Management System.
  • Prior experience in a completions role within the construction sector.
  • Familiarity with completions systems and data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBi) is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of quality management processes and relevant standards.
  • Proficient in reviewing and confirming the integrity of required completion documents.
  • Competent in utilizing software tools such as MS Excel and MS Word, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Proven ability to work accurately within set timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with advanced presentation capabilities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety and health policies and management systems.
