Job Title: Student Wellbeing Advisor

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Wellbeing Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to students who are disengaged or at risk of disengagement from mainstream education.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and staff to achieve positive outcomes for students.
  • Provide wellbeing support to students in Years 9 to 12 who have experienced trauma, mental health needs, and/or other disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the broader team to ensure a child-safe environment and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage risks within the school and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Formal qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, and/or Social Work, or equivalent significant demonstrated experience.
  • A professional history of working with young people who have experienced complex trauma and/or mental health issues within a school setting.
