We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic beekeeper to join our client's operation in Yass, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced professionals who are eager to pass on their knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Honey production and harvesting
  • Colony health management and disease treatment
  • Honeybee breeding and genetics improvement programs
  • Transporting beehives and equipment as required
  • Maintaining honeybee colonies for optimal honey production and health
  • Utilizing Agritech technologies and software for beekeeping operations
  • Working alongside experienced beekeepers to learn and develop skills
  • Extensive travel to regional and remote locations, sometimes sleeping in the outdoors
Requirements:
  • Persistent travel ability over long distances
  • Able to stay away from home for extended periods and adapt to isolated areas
  • Self-sufficiency and confidence in challenging environments
  • Positive attitude and ability to take direction well
  • Ability to work autonomously and achieve goals
  • Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads (20+ kg)
  • Passion for the outdoors and willingness to take on challenges
