Rehabilitation Consultant Job Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in helping individuals achieve their full potential by facilitating recovery and rehabilitation processes.

We are seeking an experienced professional to undertake a range of activities, including case management, workplace education programs, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling, as well as full or provisional registration with AHPRA or ASORC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective rehabilitation plans
  • Work closely with employers, employees, and medical professionals to prevent injuries and promote a safe working environment
  • Foster strong relationships with injured workers, providing emotional support and guidance throughout the recovery process

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Full or provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC)
  • Current driver license and access to own vehicle
