We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and supportive team in our Medical Rehabilitation ward.
The successful candidate will have experience providing nursing care to both Medical and Rehabilitation patients. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and enjoy a healthy work-life balance through flexible work options.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including coordination and supervision of care delivered by junior staff and students.
- Ensure all patient needs are met, involving patients in their own care and decision making.
- Carry out and document nursing care using nursing history, care plans, and/or care pathways.
- Consult with doctors when necessary and ensure medical treatment requests are carried out and documented properly.
- Maintain and continue to improve technical skills, such as interpretation of ECGs, insertion of intravenous cannulae, chest pain management, and other critical care skills.
- Ensure all nursing procedures are carried out in a safe manner, maintaining high standards of quality work.
- Registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Medical Rehabilitation specialty.
- Appropriate skills/competencies related to the ward.
- Salary: $79,535 to $100,984 per annum (pro rata for part time), plus 12% superannuation.
- Permanent full or part-time position available.
