**Job Description**:
As a Job Placement Consultant, you will actively work to support people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment and live the best life they can
You will undertake a variety of activities including:
- Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
- Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;
- Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
- Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote and regional areas which in turn, provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace;
- Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations;
- Assist in developing written reports and brokering vocational programs that support return to work outcomes.
**Qualifications**:
As a Successful Job Placement Consultant will possess:
- A passion for Employment Services or Disability Employment.
- Drive, energy and professionalism, with a personable approach and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, grow services and build relationships;
- Excellent time management skills, be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment;
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or able and willing to obtain);
- Current driver licence, road worthy motor vehicle and comprehensive insurance; due to location some travel may be expected.
