About the Role:

We are Firesoft People, a global proprietary trading firm with a proven track record of success in financial markets. As a Financial Markets Trader, you will play a pivotal role in our trading operations, utilizing your expertise to drive profitability and create value.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a cryptocurrency trader, with a proven ability to develop and execute profitable trading strategies. You will lead a team of traders, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement proven trading strategies to generate profitable trades and manage risk effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of traders, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated with market trends and developments in the energy and iron ore sectors, leveraging this knowledge to identify trading opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants to enhance trading capabilities.
  • Communication: Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively present trading ideas, strategies, and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and analyze market data, economic indicators, and news events to make informed trading decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as risk management and operations, to ensure seamless execution of trades and adherence to regulatory requirements.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cryptocurrency trader.
  • Skillset: Demonstrated success in developing and executing profitable trading strategies, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
