Customer Remediation Specialist

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a highly skilled Customer Remediation Specialist to join its Business Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking end-to-end reviews of business customer accounts to identify inconsistencies and recommend remediation paths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake analysis of business customer accounts to identify potential issues and recommend remediation paths
  • Capture and report insights on emerging trends and control uplifts
  • Liaise with remediation analysts to ensure effective implementation of remediation actions
  • Identify and raise gaps in bank policy and procedures to ensure compliance and clarity
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members
  • Adhere to Business Banking Customer Remediation guiding principles and procedures
  • Perform internal review campaigns to deliver insights and recommendations
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Risk mindset and commercial orientation
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced processing environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Broad understanding of banking products, contracts, and processes
  • Self-motivated and proactive style
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand complex account structures
  • Sound understanding of Excel
